9/19 Newsletter
Greetings!
With only 4 CSA weeks left this season, we are back with your weekly newsletter! We already miss y’all, even though the season is not yet over. We’ve been finding our groove with these pleasant days and the progression of fall. The farm feels calm, despite our silly cows always creating some excitement! We are still doing lots of harvesting and planting, as we begin to prepare the farm for the deep rest of winter.

Featured Recipe
Check out this yummy Summer Squash Soup by Erin Alderson! While our winter squash is slowly ripening, our zucchini and summer squash are starting to fade as the seasons change. We have certainly been loving our soups here at the farm as of recently, and this one is a great way to savor some of the last zucchinis! You can certainly adapt this recipe to use those shallots and celery, and maybe even garnish it with a jalapeno if you’re looking for a little kick. As always, we’d love for you to share what you are cooking up with us on Instagram!
We love being able to work with the seasons and listen to the land. Thank you, for enabling us to do this work, and for supporting this vast effort to create a better food system. Looking forward to another CSA this Friday, September 22nd! See y’all soon.
