Meet Your Farmers

Miles Golson - Founder

He/Him

Miles, his wife Emery and his two children began stewarding the land of Wild Child Farm in 2018. Growing up in Kansas City, Miles and his family frequently visited Colorado. In 2014, he moved to Colorado to attend CSU an obtained an MBA with a focus on sustainability and marketing in 2016. In 2015, Miles and Emery obtained their Permaculture Design Certificates and began imagining ways to put their new knowledge into practice. They dreamed of beginning a farm, spreading seeds and cultivating plants and community. As Farm Manager, Miles hopes to be part of the "Agricultural Awakening” of the North America which he believes starts with local food systems that regenerate the land. Truth be told, the name “Wild Child” may be as much about his own spirit than that of his two farm babies!
